buy custom Health Issues Faced by Australian Women essay
purchase custom Health Issues Faced by Australian Women article Foundation and Introduction The examination paper will dig into the medical problems that ladies face from all around the globe, explicitly Australia. Viciousness against ladies despite everything stays one of the genuine and unavoidable issues that influence people, networks, and furthermore the social textures of the social orders that individuals live in. A gander at the Australian populace uncovers that one in each three ladies matured over 15 years experience a type of physical ambush, while over portion of all ladies in Australia have had in any event one physical or rape in their life. The close viciousness that happens in relationships is the fundamental supporter of death, ailment and incapacity causes detailed among the Victorian ladies matured 15 to 44 years. It is evaluated that the greater part of this viciousness happens in homes among the wedded couples with the guys being forceful towards their accomplices, henceforth making genuine wounds the ladies (Vic Health 2009, p.16). There are likewise different sorts of viciousness that ladies get outside marriage, for example, brutality by the relative, a family companion, a partner at work, an associate, or even an outsider. This kind of mens brutality towards ladies happens over all the general public, both in the private and the open area. This sort of savagery is far reaching, orderly, and it is additionally socially dug in; thus, it is being perceived as the universes most unavoidable human rights infringement. Viciousness against ladies essentially implies any sort of demonstration of sex based savagery that may result in, or prone to cause, a physical, sexual or the mental damage or some enduring to the lady, including demonstrations of dangers, intimidation or the discretionary hardship of the freedom, may it be out in the open or the private life (Open Element 1995, p. 32). Brutality against ladies has some critical and regularly destroying results to the people in question, which may incorporate manslaughters, suicides, neediness; social, mental, and physical medical issues. In the exploration led in 2009, the monetary expense of mens brutality against ladies and furthermore their youngsters was assessed to be around $13.6 billion in Australia alone, a figure that was very disturbing. The reasons for brutality against ladies are very unpredictable, and it is concurred by numerous individuals that this savagery causes some sort of sexual orientation disparity. It is expressed that brutality against ladies is a type of critical social system wherein ladies are constrained into subordinate situations when contrasted with the men (Marcus 2007, p. 27). Effects of Gender Violence The viciousness that ladies get has impacts on their physical and the psychological prosperity. It realizes gigantic affliction, crushes families, harms the communitys picture, and furthermore diminishes the open door for the casualty to carry on with a satisfying and important life. This dread alone may change the womans conduct, influence her sentiments of individual wellbeing contrarily, henceforth constraining her capacities in partaking completely in social exercises, when contrasted with men. With regards to the personal accomplice sort of viciousness, it prompts some physical wellbeing impacts that may in the long run add to death, inabilities, and furthermore diseases among the Victorian ladies matured beneath 45 years. The drawn out impacts of the physical kind of savagery incorporate torment and weariness, sensitivities and respiratory issue issues, bosom malignant growth, eyeight issues, and in any event, hearing challenges. Furthermore, the ladies who are survivors of the personal accomplice viciousness likewise get the opportunities of contracting explicitly transmitted diseases and furthermore, somewhat, experience unnatural birth cycles, when contrasted with those ladies who don't experience such kinds of savagery (The National Council 2007, p. 12). Brutality likewise expands the odds of casualties having poor psychological well-being and prosperity. The ladies who have encountered sexual orientation savagery experience the ill effects of poor psychological well-being impacts, for example, gloom and tension. A few examinations done around the Melbourne territory show that such ladies are determined to have sadness. Viciousness against ladies may likewise bring about self destruction, mental scatters, fears, and furthermore post-awful pressure issue. The investigations led in 2005 on the Victorian ladies found that: I) Approximately one in each three survivors of rape encountered a few changes in their eating/dozing propensities, home security, and relaxation exercises. This was a consequence of the feelings of trepidation or the wounds brought about by brutality against them. ii) Approximately one in each five ladies survivors of sexual orientation viciousness have changed their work or study schedules due to the wounds delivered on them by the episode (Mouzos 2004, p.11). The Current Situation and Mechanism to Reduce Violence against Women The ladies who face sex savagery from their life partners wind up being deceived with the kids as well and frequently move out looking for asylum. They become destitute, which implies the loss of the family home, freedom, systems, social help, and assets for tutoring of the youngsters. The exploration directed by FACHSIA somewhere in the range of 2005 and 2006, among the individuals living in Melbourne state (Victoria city), found that ladies represent 42 percent of the complete populace looking for settlement, while a 60 percent of these ladies had come up short on their vicious companions at their unique family homes. A similar exploration firm had before done research on the complete number of ladies looking for convenience in the period somewhere in the range of 2003 and 2004, whereby it revealed 33 percent of the ladies populace to have fled from their male life partners. This figure is practically twofold, subsequently demonstrating the exasperating circumstance with sexual ori entation based savagery against ladies. Considering this, a few measures must be set up to lessen such cases (Vic Health 2004, p. 13). On account of the disturbing ascent in instances of sexual orientation savagery, the Victorian Law Reform Commission directed some family viciousness venture in 2008. The outcomes thought of a severe proposal to secure the people in question. As per the outcomes, on the off chance that where an accomplice is savage, he ought to be the one to leave the family, yet not the person in question. The Commonwealth Office that manages the womens issues has likewise distinguished two sorts of help to the ladies who are casualties of abusive behavior at home. Such help is: I) Provision of the sheltered, secure and moderate lodging to the ladies casualties of sexual orientation brutality, and ii) Provision of the individualized and open-finished help, which incorporates the effort benefits that shield the ladies and their kids from the fierce world for whatever length of time that they are deprived for it (Community Indicators 2004, p. 23). The Possible Options for the FFuture Outcome Equity and the lawful framework are one of the fundamental driver for the expanded sexual orientation brutality against ladies. It is accounted for that the Melbourne state legitimate framework disheartens ladies from looking for lawful mediations. The lawful framework here necessitates that ladies should deliver prove and be questioned before they can benefit from outside assistance. This issue compounds numerous womens sentiments of misuse. Another factor that bothers the issue is that the culprits of rapes that wedded ladies may report are not generally indicted. Be that as it may, just around three percent of the sexual cases announced are resolved through questioning, particularly in the little youngsters (Australian Bureau of Statistics 2005, p. 28). The legal framework and the administration additionally don't give individuals the assurance they require. The proof for this is found in the report led on the Melbourne state organization. The Safety Survey demonstrated that 20 percent of the ladies that were going to report the brutality cases had just gotten some controlling requests before, were all the while being exploited since no successful move was made. The examination likewise raised a few worries on the time required for such cases to arrive at courts, put something aside for the discourteous and harming treatment that these ladies wind up getting in courts. This dispirits numerous ladies from looking for equity since they dread being defrauded further. The investigation additionally proceeds to express that when the administration puts more accentuation on securing ladies, particularly through improving the equity framework and guaranteeing unforgiving punishments to culprits, the figures of detailed savagery cases will without a doubt decrease to about 2 percent in ten years to come (Department of Health and Aging 2009, p. 19). Proposals Genuine changes must be executed by the Australian government in their legal frameworks. This will guarantee equity is completely conveyed to the people in question and, thus, the rough accomplice will be rebuffed for his activities. Some dread will likewise be dispensed on the culprits since they may avoid the unforgiving punishments anticipating them in courts. The examination done on Melbourne city (Victoria State) additionally discovered that there were no free, lawful guides present for ladies, which thusly made ladies avoid courts because of the high expenses of the legitimate framework. It, along these lines, is suggested that the Australian government ought to in any event present some lawful guides in the framework to enable the helpless ladies to get equity. At long last, new arrangements, enactments, and methodologies should be set up to guarantee there is manageable lodging for ladies and youngsters. The proof for this is found in a little exploration led in the Victorian families that indicated that remaining in their particular homes without a doubt helped the ladies in arranging and settling on increasingly considered decisions concerning their fates. In this manner, the principle issue in giving more arrangements is to guarantee that ladies keep up their homes for whatever length of time that conceivable. Another suggestion that the administration needs to survey is the brutality law act. This demonstration ought to expressly incorporate the avoidance request that fills in as a potential intercession against the sexual orientation based cases that happen in families. After every one of these measures are set up and bec

Lab Report Effect of Abiotic and Biotic Factors on Enzymatic Essay Example
Lab Report: Effect of Abiotic and Biotic Factors on Enzymatic Paper Y-esteem pace of response X-esteem = pH of arrangement Conclusion: This investigation was to test whenever expanded measure of pH will influence the pace of response in a compound whistled response. The speculation was right in expressing that the expanded pH will build the pace of response. In Test one the subjective shading was distinctly at nine following five minutes of timing the response. In the following examination the subjective shading was at ten, for a few, preceding the brief imprint. This being the situation, the investigation doesn't bolster our theory. The diagram above shows the pace of response. Inside the initial three minutes of the response drops at an exceptionally quick rate. At that point, the following two minutes the pace of response has an immense increment. After this wave the response consistently diminishes until it ends. Since, toward the start of the response the response dropped, the shading changed gradually. With the expansion the shading changed significantly. All in all, expanding sum pH to the response helped increment the time it took to wrap up. The 3 Types of Joints in the Body
Bones come together at places in the body called joints, which enable us to move our bodies in different ways. Key Takeaways: Joints Joints are locations in the body where bones meet. They enable movement and are classified by either their structure or function.Structural classifications of joints include fibrous, cartilaginous, and synovial joints.Functional classifications of joints include immovable, slightly movable, and freely movable joints.Freely movable (synovial) joints are most abundant and include six types: pivot, hinge, condyloid, saddle, plane, and ball-and-socket joints. There are three types of joints in the body. Synovial joints are freely movable and allow for motion at the location where bones meet. They provide a wide range of motion and flexibility. Other joints provide more stability and less flexibility. Bones at cartilaginous joints connected by cartilage and are slightly movable. Bones at fibrous joints are immovable and connected by fibrous connective tissue. Joints can be classified by either their structure or function. Structural classifications are based on how the bones at joints are connected. Fibrous, synovial, and cartilaginous are structural classifications of joints. Classifications based on joint function consider how movable bones are at joint locations. These classifications include immovable (synarthrosis), slightly movable (amphiarthrosis), and freely movable (diarthrosis) joints. Immovable (Fibrous) Joints Fibrous joints hold skull bones together to protect the brain. Leonello Calvetti/Stocktrek Images/Getty Images Immovable or fibrous joints are those that do not allow movement (or allow for only very slight movement) at joint locations. Bones at these joints have no joint cavity and are held together structurally by thick fibrous connective tissue, usually collagen. These joints are important for stability and protection. There are three types of immovable joints: sutures, syndesmosis, and gomphosis. Sutures: These narrow fibrous joints connect bones of the skull (excluding the jaw bone). In adults, the bones are held tightly together to protect the brain and help shape the face. In newborns and infants, bones at these joints are separated by a larger area of connective tissue and are more flexible. Overtime, cranial bones fuse together providing more stability and protection for the brain.Syndesmosis: This type of fibrous joint connects two bones that are relatively far apart. The bones are linked by ligaments or a thick membrane (interosseous membrane). A syndesmosis can be found between the bones of the forearm (ulna and radius) and between the two long bones of the lower leg (tibia and fibula).Gomphosis: This type of fibrous joint holds a tooth in place in its socket in the upper and lower jaw. A gomphosis is an exception to the rule that joints connect bone to bone, as it connects teeth to bone. This specialized joint is also called a peg and socket joint and allows for limi ted to no movement. Slightly Movable (Cartilaginous) Joints Intervertebral discs are cartilaginous joints, composed of thick fibrocartilage, that support bones while allowing limited movement. MedicalRF.com/Getty Images Slightly movable joints permit some movement but provide less stability than immovable joints. These joints can be structurally classified as cartilaginous joints, as bones are connected by cartilage at the joints. Cartilage is a tough, elastic connective tissue that helps to reduce friction between bones. Two types of cartilage may be found at cartilaginous joints: hyaline cartilage and fibrocartilage. Hyaline cartilage is very flexible and elastic, while fibrocartilage is stronger and less flexible. Cartilaginous joints formed with hyaline cartilage can be found between certain bones of the rib cage. Intervertebral discs located between spinal vertebrae are examples of slightly movable joints composed of fibrocartilage. The fibrocartilage provides support for bones while allowing for limited movement. These are important functions as it relates to the spinal column as spinal vertebrae help to protect the spinal cord. The pubic symphysis (which connects the right and left hip bones) is another example of a cartilaginous joint that unites bones with fibrocartilage. The pubic symphysis helps to support and stabilize the pelvis. Freely Movable (Synovial) Joints Synovial joints are freely movable and provide the greatest degree of mobility. OpenStax College/Wikimedia Commons/CC BY 3.0 Freely movable joints are classified structurally as synovial joints. Unlike fibrous and cartilaginous joints, synovial joints have a joint cavity (fluid-filled space) between connecting bones. Synovial joints allow for greater mobility but are less stable than fibrous and cartilaginous joints. Examples of synovial joints include joints in the wrist, elbow, knees, shoulders, and hip. Three main structural components are found in all synovial joints and include a synovial cavity, articular capsule, and articular cartilage. Synovial Cavity: This space between adjacent bones is filled with synovial fluid and is where bones can move freely in relation to each another. Synovial fluid helps to prevent friction between bones.Articular Capsule: Composed of fibrous connective tissue, this capsule surrounds the joint and connects to adjacent bones. The inner layer of the capsule is lined with a synovial membrane that produces the thick synovial fluid.Articular Cartilage: Within the articular capsule, the rounded ends of adjacent bones are covered with smooth articular (relating to joints) cartilage composed of hyaline cartilage. Articular cartilage absorbs shock and provides a smooth surface for fluent movements. Additionally, bones at synovial joints may be supported by structures outside of the joint such as ligaments, tendons, and bursae (fluid-filled sacs that reduce friction between supporting structures at joints). Types of Synovial Joints in the Body OpenStax College/Wikimedia Commons/CC BY 3.0 Synovial joints allow for a number of different types of body movements. There are six types of synovial joints found at different locations in the body. Pivot Joint: This joint permits rotational movement around a single axis. One bone is encircled by a ring formed by the other bone at the joint and a ligament. The bone that pivots may either rotate within the ring or the ring may rotate around the bone. The joint between the first and second cervical vertebrae near the base of the skull is an example of a pivot joint. It allows the head to turn from side to side.Hinge Joint: This joint permits bending and straightening movements along one plane. Similar to a door hinge, movement is limited to a single direction. Examples of hinge joints include the elbow, knee, ankle, and joints between the bones of the fingers and toes.Condyloid Joint: Several different types of movements are allowed by this type of joint, including bending and straightening, side-to-side, and circular movements. One of the bones has an oval-shaped, or convex, end (male surface) that fits into the depressed oval-shaped, or concave end (female surface) of another bo ne. This type of joint can be found between the radius bone of the forearm and bones of the wrist.Saddle Joint: These distinct joints are very flexible, allowing for bending and straightening, side-to-side, and circular movements. The bones at these joints form what looks like a rider on a saddle. One bone is turned inward at one end, while the other is turned outward. An example of a saddle joint is the thumb joint between the thumb and palm.Plane Joint: Bones at this type of joint slide past each other in a gliding motion. The bones at plane joints are of similar size and the surfaces where the bones meet at the joint are nearly flat. These joints can be found between bones of the wrist and foot, as well as between the collar bone and shoulder blade.Ball-and-Socket Joint: These joints allow the greatest degree of motion permitting bending and straitening, side-to-side, circular, and rotational movement. The end of one bone at this type of joint is rounded (ball) and fits into the cupped end (socket) of another bone. The hip and shoulder joints are examples of ball-and-socket joints. Each of the different types of synovial joints allows for specialized movements that permit different degrees of motion. They may allow movement in a single direction only or movement along multiple planes, depending on the type of joint. The range of motion of a joint is therefore limited by the type of joint and by its supporting ligaments and muscles. Sources Betts, J. Gordon. Anatomy and Physiology. Kelly A. Young, James A. Media and Communication Adaptation for Elements - myassignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theMedia and Communication Adaptation for District Elements. Answer: MEMO To Creative Team XYZ From ABC ABC Re: of the Advertisement Date: This is to inform you that you are creating this memo for creative team regarding the changes to the given advertisement. The Distinct Elements are described below: The ad titled as stop violence against women: The rooting of violence against women and girls are from the discrimination of individuals on a gender basis and social norms and the gender stereotyping which propagates such violence. Raising awareness among the people and the mobilization of the community by including with media and social media is found to be an effective prevention strategy for bringing changes is recommended to the creative team. Education for prevention: It is to note that the voices can be raised against violence as a co-educational curriculum which has to be designed for people of various age groups varying from 5 to 25 years. It offers young people with expertise and tools in having an understanding of the root causes of violence in their particular communities and to educate them and by involving their groups and communities in preventing such kind of violence and eventually to make them learn about where they need to access for support if such violence is experienced (Berger, 2015). Voices raised against violence would be a tool for young people all over the world. It can be adapted to the level of national context and can be translated into the local languages and has to be rolled out in schools and communities of all regions in partnership with youth organizations and governments (David Carignan, 2017). Working together in a male-female environment: This kind of program is to be entertained at the working place without any gender bias by the firm. By embracing such programs the long-term goal of the firm should be reducing the incidences of violence that are gender-based in the region through changes in their behaviour and attitude among men and boys, the increased capacity of the institution, and policy enhancements should be facilitated (Pedro). Raising voice against violence should be adopted as the community-based initiative and should aim in preventing the violence from working place with a cross-section of community members and leaders in changing their behaviours and attitudes that promote violence against women. Provide information on violence against women survivors: It is to be noted by women and girls, particularly the VAW survivors that they would be authorized in receiving the support and compensation for them being engaged in such violence. They should be given ideas and suggestions and make them aware of how they would be able to claim their rights. It can be achieved by raising public awareness and by giving information campaigns which can distribute such important information to the survivors and would encourage them in using services that are appropriate to them and for demanding the justice (Nishida, 1999). They should also be provided with the access to prevention of violence against women and the section of response services and also law implementing public awareness and education section in the legislation module. An increasing body of indication shows that if the campaigns are designed well with information and are combined with the public advertisements such as posters and the mobilization of community than it will succeed in promo ting the increased use of the services by the survivors of VAW (Raab Rocha, 2011). Promoting the norms related to gender unbiased: It has been shown by the World Health Organization (2005) in a seminal multi-country study that violence against women is related closely to the gender inequality with respect to rights in between men and women, unequal roles of gender, and low levels of mobility of women, independence, and empowerment. Hence, against VAW campaigns are required to be promoted for providing justice to gender inequality and models of femininity and masculinity that are usually based on human rights and its equality (Strmbck Van Aelst, 2013). In these, as active agents of change, you need to represent women and girls instead of only the potential victims who have to be protected so that it will contribute to their empowerment, and concedes and values their actual contribution to the society. Recommendations using Cultural Schema Theory When an individual from a particular culture interacts with the members belonging to the same culture all the time or when talks regarding certain information with them for many times, then there would be the creation of cultural schemas and will be stored in the brain. Consequently, similar kind of instances are responsible for the development of cultural schema against women and are becoming more organized, compact, and abstract leading to violence against them. Communication becomes much easier as these keep on happening among biased gender. It is explained by Nishida (1999) that the force that led to the creation of cultural schema is an experience (Nishida, 1999). Violence can be described as the term that is diffused extremely and is a complex phenomenon which cannot be defined exactly in any scientific terms because it has been influenced by the cultural development and is reviewed to the extent of social values and standards of women. From our cultural schemas, we can notice that the categorization of gender is assumed to be understood of the relationships that are established among the sexes in the society which leads to the differentiation of biological and social sex. While the term biological sex is referred to as the differences between men and women due to anatomic physiology and the term social sex would be related to how in society these differences in culture behave (David Carignan, 2017). All over the world in all cultures, women are living in conditions that are socially unequal towards men. The different manifestations and magnitudes are acquired by these inequalities. In this, the gender that is defined based on culture will be employing two levels, such as gender in the form of a constitutive element of social relations on the basis of noticeable differences between the two sexes and gender representation in the form of power relations in which there would be dominant action and are quite natural. Recommendations using Communication Accommodation Theory Communication accommodation theory emphasizes on the adjustments that are made by the people while having communication. This theory was developed by Howard Giles, who is a professor at the University of California of communication. According to him, whenever people try to interact with others than they will either emphasize or diminish the social differences among them. This can be linked to the violence against women in the working places since men would like to be dominant in their work so they will try to degrade women staff with their communication by diminishing them while having an interaction with them in a team (Raab Rocha, 2011). Communication accommodation theory is often influenced by the social psychology of the people at workplace and the following four conclusions can be drawn from them which are as below: While communicating, however, there will be similarity among men to mens conversations and differences among men to womens conversations in terms of speech and their behaviour. These kind of features that are exhibited by the people are completely dependent on their experiences and the type of cultural background they are bought in. By understanding the insight of the behaviour and speech of the opposite gender the conversation can be evaluated. By evaluating people will make a decision of whether they can accommodate and fit in it. The equality and social status are generally determined by their language and behaviours. When people communicate, they have the tendency of accommodating their behaviours with those who are at the high level of social status in comparison to them. The accommodation process is guided by norms which will be varying in the level of appropriateness. The behaviour of the individual is defined by the norms and accordingly, they are expected to act. The application of communication accommodation theory can be in various different processes of communication. The communication accommodation can be used in an office for communicating effectively and to prevent biased communication which leads to violence against women among the employees. Multicultural Teams and Their Leadership
Introduction As a result of globalization, many organizations are employing people from different countries in order to pool resources and boost their operational efficiency. However, documented literature indicates that having a culturally diverse team presents numerous challenges based on language differences, communication issues, different working techniques and conflict resolution mechanisms (Gibson Vermeulen, 2003).Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Multicultural Teams and Their Leadership specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More If not addressed efficiently, these challenges may lead to process and coordination inefficiencies. This paper shall provide solutions to five problems a multicultural team may face as it tries to open and run a shop in Zurich. Cultural Diversity: A Brief Overview Cultural diversity refers to a situation whereby members of given group have different beliefs, ethnicity, languages an d attitudes. Hankin (2005), states that there are negative and positive consequences that may arise from a culturally diverse team. For example, a multicultural team has different experience levels, skills and attitudes that may help organizations tackle numerous challenges in international business (Hankin, 2005). However, differences between members may lead to increased conflicts, miscommunications and confusions leading to low productivity due to process and coordination inadequacies. As such, understanding and acknowledging cultural diversity may help teams create a more efficient group process. Challenges in Multicultural Teams Early and Mosakowski (2004) assert that the cultural orientation of an individual affects the level of tolerance for uncertainty he/she can handle. For example, people from individualistic or low-context cultures prefer to confront conflicts directly, while those from collectivistic or high-context cultures adopt an indirect approach to conflict resolut ion. The high-context culture and low-context culture concepts shall be used to identify the problems a multicultural team might face while trying to run a business in Zurich.Advertising Looking for research paper on business economics? As such, a majority of the people that belong to such societies focus their attention on individual goals rather than those of a team. On the other hand, Italians adopt a collectivist approach, in which the needs of the group have more weight than those of an individual. This difference in personality may cause a big problem when it comes to making quick decisions regarding the business. For example, individualistic people within the team will do what they think is best for the business while those from collectivistic cultures will prefer to discu ss and come up with a solution that is acceptable to all members. As such, decision making and conflict resolution within this team will be difficult because members apply different approaches when handling such issues. Communication challenges Efficient communication is very important in any business endeavor. However, different cultures use varied communication styles. As such, miscommunication in a culturally diverse group is likely to occur due to language barriers, accents and communication styles (direct or indirect communication). In this case, accents may be the main challenge faced by the members of the team. For example, English spoken by the Germans and Italians may not be clearly understood by the Americans and Swiss and vice versa. As such, it may be difficult to communicate effectively therefore leading to conflicts arising from such miscommunications and misunderstandings. Prejudice and stereotyping This challenge is very common in multicultural settings. In most case s, different cultures have varied opinions about other cultures. For example, Italians and Germans perceive Americans as disrespectful, talkative and egocentric. On the other hand, Americans and Australians may view the Italians and Germans as proud, lazy and less intelligent. With such stereotypes, fair delegation of duties and teamwork may be difficult because each member believes that his/her culture is more superior than that of fellow members.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Multicultural Teams and Their Leadership specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Time, urgency and pace orientation According to Hogan (2007), different cultures view time differently. For example, individualistic cultures like keeping time, working with schedules and deadlines, and tackling one task at a time. On the other hand, collectivistic cultures view time holistically. As such, they like taking their time and doing things as t hey come without restrictions. In this team, this will be challenging because the Italians may be viewed as slow workers. Attitude towards work In this regard, the challenge may arise from the different perspectives members have about acceptable work etiquette. According to Hankin (2005), nations have different work norms and behaviors. As such, members of a culturally diverse team may have different descriptions of personal time and work time. Individualistic cultures have the ability to separate personal time from work time. When at work, Americans, Germans and Australians tend to do what they are supposed to do and try as much as possible to minimizing personal or social disruptions. On the other hand, Italians tend to be social while working and may even sacrifice work time so that they can deal with personal matters. As such, this team may face a difficult task of determining and separating personal and work time. Management of multicultural challenges According to Hogan (2007) , challenges emanating from cultural diversity can only be solved if a culturally diverse workforce learns to tolerate each other and focus on attaining the set organizational goals. In this case, the members of this multicultural team should acknowledge their differences and come up with an organizational culture that fosters cooperation, effective communication and fairness among team members. Similarly, Hecht-El Minshawi and Berninghausen (2009) suggest that members of a culturally diverse team should understand the existing barriers that may affect the efficiency of the group process. With this in mind, this team should develop procedures for decision making, conflict resolution and work etiquette. Implementation of such procedures and policies play a pivotal role towards addressing the challenges arising from work attitudes, time orientation and communication barriers. Conclusion Cultural diversity in workplace settings presents numerous challenges for managers. If not addresse d these challenges may lead to the failure of businesses. As such, people should try to be multiculturally competent in order to facilitate teamwork and cooperation in a multicultural work environment.Advertising Looking for research paper on business economics? Destiny essays
Destiny essays What is destiny? To many people it is how they live their lives. They believe that everyones life has its own destiny or course. According to Websters Dictionary destiny is a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency. (Websters Dictionary) In other words our destiny is out fate. It could either be a good thing or a bad thing and to most people it has already been decided by a Supreme Being or God. But that is just the pessimistic view on destiny. Others believe that one can decide his or her own destiny. A person just has to know how to control it and become a master of it. I personally believe that one can control his or her own destiny. That is if you strive to do that yourself. If you just live your life expecting that everything will fall in your lap you are wrong. Nothing in life is pre-destined as in the people you meet, the jobs you get or the person you marry. If that were to be true then everyone would be happy, that is if your destiny is for you to be happy. I think that the notion of destiny is just an excuse that people use for the misfortunes or fortunes that they encounter. During the course of ones life you can began to make your own destiny. From childhood up to the point where you die you always have aspirations for yourself and that makes the person strive for it, not because you were put on this earth for that particular reason. Evolution proceeds under a law as unerring as any well-established scientific law, namely, that of karma or the law of cause and effect. Each action, each desire, each thought, produces its result with unfailing certainty. "As a person sows, so shall he also reap." This makes perfection possible, for knowledge is power, and when a person knows the law and works with it, he can produce any result he chooses, he becomes master of his destiny. (Encyclopedia of Philosophy) It is impossible for anyone to become a master o...

Introduction Assignment - Essay Example I always believe that my roots will bring me an advantage in facing the world, especially in the field of writing. I came from a big family with four sisters and a brother, and I am the youngest one. My family has an innate influence on me. They have been the first people in my life and the first people I have interacted with; we have interesting similarities and differences that make each of us very special. In relation to this, when I had the chance to be an international student, I acquired more learning experiences from actual relations with various kinds of people of diverse origins and with different ways of life. I consider every person as a chance to learn more about the world; it can be said that every new person in my life inspires me, and I incorporate this inspiration in my writings. It is important for me to know the topic which I am writing about. It is a seed that I plant and cultivate to produce knowledgeable fruits. Inspiration is healthy in writing but it will not be of help without the correct information. As a writer, I see to it that my works contain legit data, and I take note of the credibility of the source. Free writing is good for personal writing pleasures, but professional writing requires certain formats to follow. I stick to formats given to me and make sure requirements are achieved. I aim for harmony in my personal writing style and for the achievement of the goals of the writing task. Just like life, writing is not writing if it does not have a purpose. Life is not life if we do not live it for a purpose. It is important to have a clear idea of what one is going to write about for one to achieve the purpose of writing (Goldreich 2).This is how I view my responsibility as a writer. Reading response of the reading Living in a Globalizing World Essay
Reading response of the reading Living in a Globalizing World - Essay Example The people living in United States, gets affected by the affect of globalization on the economy. The positive aspect of the US economy is to generate profit through expansion of industrialization but the adverse aspect is that it leads to the increase in the number of the outsourcing by declining the number local jobs (Crawford and Fogart 1-137). The inequality in sexism, racial prejudice is creating a big chaos in the society and also affecting globalization. With the advent of globalization, few negative aspects such as number of sex trafficking and discrimination of the people on the basis of the race has increased worldwide. s. The institutional racism also gets influenced through globalization due to the integration of the diverse culture. Conversely, many people have adopted orphan children, who belong to different racism for providing them better life (Crawford and Fogart 1-137). The term wealth means the property of an individual, which is earned by the person throughout the life. However, wealth not only provides materialistic happiness but also non-materialistic aspect. Wealth is also the satisfaction, which comes out from the mental peace and happiness. In present scenario, people feel that the people who spend time with their family are happier than any other financially rich person (Crawford and Fogart 1-137). To be an ethical consumer the person needs to adopt the fair trade, which is paid to the worker as workable wages. The role of ethical consumer is to provide support to poor farmer by purchasing food products from them. The customers need to be aware about the money and investment procedures (Crawford and Fogart 1-137). There are some countries are still lacking in its economic nature. The main reason behind this poor situation is inequality in the British colonials. The people who belong to elite class lead different life from that of the poor people. These may lead to

Canadian cities Essay Example for Free
Canadian cities Essay This piece of essay will answer whether there are ghettos in Canadian cities and which are these cities and why them not the others. What are the main causes of ghettos and what the authorities are doing about this issue? Ghettos in Canadian Cities. There has been an increase of minority groups in most of the Canadian cities. The minority groups are linked to poverty or to be exact low income and neighbourhood distress. It has been realized that the emerging ghettos in Canadian cities are in line with what is witnessed in the United States which is brought about by racial segregation especially directed to the black people. The other cause of growing ghettos in Canadian cities is the immigration and the cost living. Many people cannot afford to live in expensive apartments or rather they choose to live in low income houses. There is a remarkable growth of the minority population which depends on where the people or the immigrants come from, their countries of origin. In this minority group there is a high birth rate hence this increases the number of people or the population of poor and jobless people in many towns. However, in the United States the definition of a ghetto is, a residential part in the town or district that is concentrated by a certain ethic group and many or the majority of the members live in poor conditions and rarely get all the basic needs. Many of these ghettos are establishing near rich estates because the low income earning people depend on the rich people from rich neighborhoods. Many of these people who have been subjugated to the ghettos are the blacks and the Hispanics. A research study is going on and the commonly used terminology is to refer to this people who stay in the ghetto. Names like, immigrants, ethnic communities and they are also referred to as racialized groups. As the ghettos or the minority increase in number the more it violates the traditional ecological models that used to see immigrants and ethnic groups integrating geographically and assimilating through culture. There is confusion in many Canadian cities because of the definition as some say enclaves as others insist that these are ghettos. But an intriguing issue is, there is a difference between an enclave and a ghetto. In a ghetto people can be from so many ethnic backgrounds that are poor and there living standards very low and an enclave is the same but people are from the same ethnical background. There is ambiguity when the relationship between ethnic and segregation and concentrated poverty need definitions in connection with ghettos. The face of Canadian cities has been totally changing since the change in the immigration policy in the 1960s. The majority of the Canadian population was born in Asia, Africa and West Indies and many the countries from these regions are poor. The growing poverty level in Canada is pushing many people to high poverty neighbourhoods. Canadian cities like Vancouver and Toronto are the ones experiencing the life of ghettos and coincidentally these are the cities with a large number of immigrants from Asia and Africa respectively. The proximity of Vancouver to the Asian neighbours put it in this situation.

Toyota Prius vs Honda Insight :: Cars Automobiles Environmental Essays
Toyota Prius vs Honda Insight This paper aims at examining on Toyota and Hondaââ¬â¢s current environmental control systems for next centuryââ¬â¢s energy vehicles, comparing released the echo automobile, Prius, Toyota and Insight, Honda. Specification Prius was released in December 1997 in Japan in order to reduce emissions in urban areas, which startled the world. The Japan-market Prius, which has sold 35,000 units, was optimized for "stop-and-go" driving, so it needed some tuning to meet the requirements of the U.S. market. In the U.S., motorists typically drive faster for longer distances, and vehicles have stricter emissions requirements. The Prius, a four-door sedan that seats five, is designed to minimize tailpipe emissions and get excellent mileage for a car its size. It meets California's very stringent SULEV standard (super ultra-low emission vehicle), which allows only 10 percent of the smog-forming exhaust gases as the ULEV standard. To reduce emissions, the Prius operates without running the gasoline engine at speeds below 13-25 mph. The car decides which driving mode to operate in based on how it is being driven, the charge level in the batteries and driving conditions. It never needs to be plugged in to recharge; the onboard generator automatically charges the batteries when necessary. The retail price is about $23000, which is reasonable price in market now. Honda Insight, two-door seats is a simplified parallel hybrid which is superior in fuel efficiency and is known for being a ââ¬Å"hybrid gasoline-electric propelled car. Fuel efficiency of Insight precedes 7km per 1l of the Prius. Honda jumped to the top of fuel efficiency competition. The Insight also meets California's Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (ULEV) standards, which measures other emissions. The fuel efficiency is important in reducing consumption of non-renewable resources and green gas emissions, developing future automotive technologies because of limited range problems, battery electric or fuel cell electric cars will need to be very efficient to be successful in the marketplace Honda improved fuel expensive of the gasoline engine itself and developed the motor/generator which becomes auxiliary power, furthermore adopted aerodynamic, light and the aluminum alloy body make inherently low energy vehicles.

The New Digital Era called ââ¬ÅMP3 Technologyââ¬Â
Downloading of music has been a long time subject of piracy. In the 1920ââ¬â¢s, radio stations played records that are not tracked. It is a not-so obvious manner of piracy but did impact writers who were losing money due to public performance of their works without proper accountability. No one was making money through this procedure but only radio stations via their sponsors. (Wicknick, par. 1) With this, the performance rights societies including ASCAP and BMI worked with the Congress and the FCC to change legislation to ensure that radio stations will track airplay and pay blanket licenses that were given to writers based on airplay. (Wicknick, par. 1) It is impossible to copy a record before the invention of blank tape. Its either you bought it or borrow a copy and played it until the needle lost its tip. (Wicknick, par. 3) In the mid 1960ââ¬â¢s, even after the invention of blank tapes, copying a record is sill a clunky process. (Wicknick, par. 3) In the advent of cassette tape, people learned to do dubbing. But marketing of these tapes are low because it is still evident that it is dub due to sonic integrity has been compromised. ASCAP and BMI, together with the FCC, they began to collect blanket license fees on the sale of blank media and give them to writers and publisher members. (Wicknick, par. 4) In 1982, in the faà §ade of CD in Europe, Japan and in the United States by 1983, it was read-only. Burning to a CD is impossible before. But advancement in technology made it possible. In the year of 2003, you can burn CD from mp3 and sources like iTunes. However, MP3 and iTunes do charge for licensing, worked out deals and propose duplication allowances. (Wicknick, par. 5) The onslaught of the digital wave in 1999 started with the newly created MP3 file sharing software called Napster, stated Catherine Edwards, in her article ââ¬Å"The Napster Challenger.â⬠à Lee Bockhorn, in his article ââ¬Å"MP3 and Me: How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Online Music File Sharing (sort of)â⬠stated that on one side of the wave is the estimated 60 million MP3 Internet users that enjoy the advantages of ala carte collection choice, downloading these selections for free and testing music before purchasing. On the other side are the artists and recording companies making strong claims for illegal sharing of copyrighted material states John Healey and Jeff Leeds in their article ââ¬Å"Tone Deaf to the Moral Dilemma?â⬠à The new MP3 file sharing technology has brought to us into a new digital age madness designed for music lovers.à Claiming violation of copyright laws, the greedy recording companies and music artists do not wish to give up the present business structure and refuse to embrace the exploding expansion of digital technology that will allow ââ¬Ëala carte purchasesââ¬â¢. The start of this digital age software began with a 19-year-old freshman at Northeastern University in Boston in 1999.à His name is Shawn Fanning.à He revolutionized the music industry, developing a software program called Napster.à Napster allows music fans to share and download music files via the Internet for free.à Shawn received $15 million to start the corporation and is now a famous CEO (Edwards 160). Then, one and a half years later, in 2001, 2 famous bands, Metallica and Dr. Dre, sued Napster. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) sued as well, claiming Napster violated record label copyrights.à This case is still on appeal.à Since this time, Napster has joined with BMG Entertainment (a $50 million dollar deal) offering a new fee-based system (Edwards) The RIAA has been taking drastic measures to limit piracy. Consumers of music sees file-sharing or downloading as the wave of the future and legal in their own right. The lawsuits include a twelve year old for downloading contents online and an 80 year-old grandfather who were sued for his computer activity wherein he claimed that he donââ¬â¢t even know how to turn a computer on. Many of the grandparents bought computer for their grandchild as a treat whenever they come to visit their place. But a twelve year old may be well aware on the usage of the computer technology as well as a graduate student but doesnââ¬â¢t know or understand the violations of what they have done. (Wicknick, par. 2) The next approach for RIAA is to target college students and parents with further lawsuits alleging copyright violations.à ââ¬Å"One goal is to persuade parents to crack down on their childrenââ¬â¢s file sharing before an entire generation comes to expect music to be freeâ⬠(Healey and Leeds 175).à This may prove to be a futile effort with the millions of Internet users copying music for free on the new sites that have popped up, such as Kazaa or Limewire.à Also, many parents condone studentsââ¬â¢ downloading even though itââ¬â¢s unethical.à RIAA lawsuits will attempt to target the Internet account that is used to share the file (Healey and Leeds 177).à These lawsuits may change the attitudes of 12-22 year-olds, that when surveyed said that 70% of them would stop if at risk of a fine or jail (Healey and Leeds 178). According to the Pew Internet Projectââ¬â¢s national survey of adult Internet users conducted last January-February 2005 resulted that about 7 million adults downloaded files from someoneââ¬â¢s iPod or MP3 player. (Madden and Lee par. 2) Approximately, 10 million people get their music and video files through email and instant messages. But there are people who use both the same sources. Other alternative sources of downloading include music and movie websites, blogs and online reviews. There is also a legislation being pushed in Congress by the record companies.à If approved, it would use software to flood peer-to-peer sharing with dummy files, search public folders for illegally copies music and block users from downloading.à Even though itââ¬â¢s difficult to empathize with rich artists and greedy record companies, it is still, according to law, an illegal practice to share and download copyrighted music online.à Millions of people through MP3 technology are sharing files, making the concept of ââ¬Ëfair useââ¬â¢ ridiculous (Bockhorn 163). Further in his article, Bockhorn writes of his personal exposure to the Napster era.à At the start of the Napster take-off he felt that it just wasnââ¬â¢t right to not pay an artist for his/her music.à He explains that his first temptation came after attending a Norah Jones concert.à He later downloaded her performance of the ââ¬ËTennessee Waltzââ¬â¢ thru I-Tunes. His justification was that he had paid to see the concert and had bought previous albums (Bockhorn 162). à In a forum done by eight graders, some students thought that the music industries have huge incomes and it would not hurt if they will get a song or two from an album through the internet. A student said that the artist will still have an income because they are still buying T-shirts and watch their concerts. (Hafner, par. 13) Curiosities about MP3 file sharing, lead to Bockhornââ¬â¢s downloading of Limewire, a successor to Napster.à He agrees that it is unquestionably, great technology, without paying a fee.à Drawbacks to MP3 are availability of music, modem connection speed, and the guilt of acquiring music without paying.à ââ¬Å"If I want to download My Cherie Amour, Stevie Wonder should get a cut of whatever price a true market . . . determines the song is worth . . .â⬠(Bockhorn 162). Currently, Bockhornââ¬â¢s primary concern is that MP3 technology has definitely warped the minds of users copying illegal files to build their music collection.à But, why does the music lover continue to partake?à Number one because of choice and number two because itââ¬â¢s free (Bockhorn 163).à Most people will agree that itââ¬â¢s illegal but will continue to do it.à ââ¬Å"Like countless millions, Miriam Philips felt no guilt in downloading music from a shared campus folderâ⬠(Healey and Leeds 175).à Philips offers no sympathy for the artist and the record company, ââ¬Å"Theyââ¬â¢re rich, they can deal with itâ⬠, (Philips via Healey and Leeds 175). According to a 13-year old girl, if you wanted a song or two in a certain album, it is not a big deal.(Hafner, par. 3) However, when someone consistently downloaded an artist whole CD, it might be the right time to call them thieves. Almost all of the houses here in the US have Internet-connected computers in their homes. A student even asked that if downloading of music is really illegal, why do PCs were sold with CD burners? (Hafner, par. 18) Downloading of music through CD burning is very convenient especially to students who were mostly doing it.à Just a few clicks away, they will be able to have the songs they wanted. (Hafner, par. 9) Though some of these people knew that they are violating the law, but they canââ¬â¢t afford to give up convenience and less expensive or the free copies of the recordings of their own choice. On the other hand, there are some advantages to the downloading frenzy.à This technology has prompted some users to purchase CD's based on a new interest in a particular type of music.à It is able to give a taste of a certain type of music or unknown band before purchasing an entire CD.à Users will find that if theyââ¬â¢re downloading more than 2-3 songs they will probably go out and buy the entire album. Internet users will also argue that it is difficult at times to locate a particular piece of music that theyââ¬â¢re looking for.à Also, this activity is for personal use, not resale (Healey and Leeds 176).à There is also no evidence that MP3 file sharing has dramatically hurt CD sales.à In 2001, sales dropped 10% and in 2002 sales dropped 7% (Bockhorn 163). There are news and write ups on lawsuits for music-downloading like the Napsters and Metallica lawsuits but possible loss of revenue for recording industry were not perceived. Music-downloading is hurting the businesses of music retailers. While downloaders are getting music for free through downloading it from internet or MP3s, it is a loss of income for massive music retail outlets. (Bestul, par. 5) People resigned from buying or purchasing music and switch over to downloading it from the computer instead. What they havenââ¬â¢t thought about is the income that music retailers or outlets will lose every time they download the music for free from computer or MP3 instead of buying a CD from retail outlets. In attempting to defend this illegal behavior, consumers will argue that corrupt record companies refuse to embrace technology that will allow ââ¬Ëala carteââ¬â¢ purchases.à Consumers wish to purchase the one or two songs from an album that are worthy of purchase.à This choice could lead to the extinction of great albums such as the Beatlesââ¬â¢ Sgt. Peppers album (Bockhorn 163).à Bockhorn believes that people want to do the right thing, and hopes that record companies will provide us options for subscription or ala carte, but thus far they have been very reluctant.à If record companies would join the new technology, all of us could rest easier know that the artist got his/her share (Bockhorn 164). It is believe to be impossible to stop the downloading of music because it is the fad as of this era. Aside from the fact that many people are music lovers, the technology that we have today is unstoppable. Advancement in technology might be the reason why people can come up in this kind of technique in getting what they want for free or at a lesser cost with much ease. Maybe in the future, we might have other ways or means of downloading music or files in a more convenient way based on how technology progress on every generation. Future growth of MP3 digital technology is yet to be determined, with many changes to come.à Millions of Internet users each day have access to use of this technology, either through free or paid Internet sites.à Consumers do have a choice, the questions remains to be, how many will lean toward their obligation of legal choice.à Future enforcement of the free technology wonââ¬â¢t be effective unless the music industry offers a legal alternative to file sharing. Before the 1850s, adoption was an informal process where all the parties knew each other. The first adoption law passed in Texas was in 1850 and it required the adoption process to be filed with the county clerk. Adoptions were originally designed to help infertile, middle-class, and largely white couples but over time adoption process were forced to change to adapt to social needs. These changes have been occurring due to a shortage in adoption. Same sex families aspire to have a family of their own just like heterosexual couples whether it be through adoption, foster care, artificial insemination, or other resources. And because of the shortage in adoption, states and the nation have started to recognize these marriages and made adoption one of the top choices to helping them form a family. It has become important that both parents become recognized. The second parent has been gaining recognition mostly because if something happens to the first parent the states do no want for the child to go back to a foster home. Donââ¬â¢t waste time! Our writers will create an original "The adoption rights for same sex marriages" essay for you Create order Many myths surround same sex marriages. The most common one is that many believe is that children who grow up with same sex couples will not grow up to be as successful as children in heterosexual marriages. Children are going back and forth in foster homes which has been causing more mental health issues. The children living in this situation are at greater risk of emotional problems, delinquency, substance abuse, and academic problems. Some people also believe that just because a child grows up with same sex parents they will also grow up to be gay or lesbian. Texas is a conservative state. Our ideal image of a family is one consisting of a mother and father with biological children. Texans as a state chooses to live by the norms of society leading to the discrimination towards same sex couples. Members of the LGBT community are cataloged as immoral based on the religious beliefs of society and they have also been said to have a mental illness because of their sexual preferences. Same sex marriage acceptance has been a controversial topic for the last few years that has slowly been gaining acceptance. Same sex couples have been fighting to have the same recognition and rights as a heterosexual marriage. These couples have held protests, conventions, and have filed a considerable number of lawsuits towards various government institutions and others to have what they consider their rights also recognized. In the case of James Obergefell v. Richard Hodges in Ohio, the plaintiff Obergefell along with other same sex couples from the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennessee sued their respective state agencies to challenge what they believed were their constitutional rights. This case led to the historic event that occurred on June 26, 2015 when the Supreme Court declared same sex marriage legal in all fifty states on the same terms and conditions of the opposite sex couples. This meant that the Supreme Court agreed with the Constitution stating, that the right to marry is fundamental under the 14th Amendment, and that it is guaranteed by the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause. The 14th Amendment was originally meant to grant citizenship and equal civil rights to slaves. Before 1996, the 14th Amendment did not fully protect or give rights to the LGBT community. After the strike down on a Colorado state constitutional amendment, the Supreme court started using the term fundamental rights. The government wanted to keep the LGBT rights to minimum protection. The ban of same sex marriage was lifted by this verdict, but the Texas Attorney Generals office argued that marriage is a right that comes with benefits the state is entitled to control. Texas is the sixth state to pass a law limiting the adoption rights for same sex marriages. Texas birth certificates only allow a mother and a fathers name to be listed. If the non biological same sex parent wants to be recognized as a legal parent, they would have to go through the adoption process but just because they are couple it does not mean that the adoption will be approved. The Freedom to Serve Children Act was signed on June 15, 2017 by governor Greg Abbott. The Freedom to Serve Children Act states that state funded, and religious based foster agencies can turn down an adoption application for these couples because of the agencies beliefs without being punished. It also prevents the state from denying the agencies an application or contract, denying them a license, or terminating a child welfare provider because their beliefs. If these agencies practice these moves, they could lead themselves to shut down the agencies. Many people do not believe that this act does not discriminate because these religious based agencies are obligated to refer same sex marriages to other agencies that could help them. Many same sex couples think that they will have a tough time adopting after being turned down, but there are other agencies that are willing to help them and place a child in a loving home. According to the Lifelong Adoptions website, more birthparents are choosing to place their children with same sex couples making the process easier for them. Like any other couple looking to adopt, they do have to go thru the process such as having an adoption home study done, attend a pre-adoption classes, and they do not believe that just because a child grows up in a same sex marriage home that they will turn out to be gay themselves. Adoption agencies and social workers acknowledge that same sex adoption is rising overall throughout the United States, but some still show concern as to how will the child react as they are growing up. Some of the concerns included are how will the couple explain to their child that they have 2 mothers or 2 fathers, will the child feel embarrassed, or will they go through bullying and being teased by their peers. I believe in the love is love idea, and that every child should be given the opportunity to have a home and a family even if is with two parents of the same gender who prove themselves capable to raise a family. I would prefer to see a child being raised and loved by them rather than their blood relatives keeping them and making them feel unwanted or keeping them and maybe not having the means to support them. And I would not want a child going thru several foster homes or being in an adoption agency throughout their childhood creating an unstable environment for them which could lead them to not knowing who they really want to be in life. Adoption processes should be redesigned to help the process for same sex couples be easier and so that may not face anymore discrimination. If they prove to be capable and apt to care for a child, then they should be allowed to. Nearly everyday we see cases of biological heterosexual parents abusing of their children in diverse ways. I personally have not seen any reporting of a same sex parent doing atrocities to children. We are not hurting the same sex couples with giving them a hard time, the ones being hurt are the children who have to suffer going from home to home while in foster care. Hispanics overall still do not accept gay marriage mostly because of religious views. About 50% more less, are Catholics, and they believe that a family should be created and raised by a man and a woman. However, the Catholic Church has started to accept the LGBTQ community. With time, Hispanics are expected to be except marriages, because the older generations will die out. The young will view it as normal because they are growing up with this modern day society.
